• Fayette Medical Center's Long-Term Care Facility given a five-star rating in U.S. News & World Report’s sixth annual “Best Nursing Homes” (2014).ÌýRatings were determined by health inspections, level of nurse staffing, and quality of care. The data used for the report was received from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.Ìý
• DCH Regional Medical Center and Northport Medical Center recognized as a Joint Commission Top Performer on Key Quality Measures (2012, 2013).ÌýRecognizes exemplary performance in using evidence-based interventions that increase the chances of healthy outcomes in patients with heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia, and surgical care.Ìý
• Fayette Medical Center recognized as a Joint Commission Top Performer on Key Quality Measures (2013).ÌýRecognizes exemplary performance in using evidence-based interventions that increase the chances of healthy outcomes in pneumonia.
• Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center become a certified member of the MD Anderson Cancer NetworkTM (2012).ÌýThrough this affiliation, the Manderson Cancer Center works closely with The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center to bring a higher level of cancer care to central Alabama.
• Lewis and Faye Manderson Cancer Center receive three-year approval with commendation from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (2009, 2012).ÌýThis accreditation is the highest level of approval from the organization.
